Urbanscapes’ ‘Balik Bandar’ Mural Commission

Balik Bandar was a mural commissioned by Urbanscapes at Pasar Seni LRT in 2016.

As someone from Selangor, KL has always been a place where I'd need to go to back and forth. It's like the kampung we all share, where we would always visit back to back, the Opah to our Malaysia.

'Balik Bandar' is about that self-discovery we all can't help but to go through as we walk through Kuala Lumpur. Unconsciously, each and everyone of us search for that sense of belonging, to find our true origins in the busy heart of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur and feel like home.
